This 3-day training weekend was originally designed to take advantage of the benefits of high altitude training. However, after several months of COVID-19 home isolation, we just want to help to enjoy being outdoors and exercising, seriously or just for fun!
Join us for an amazing long weekend of training up in some of Head Coach Jay’s favorite training venues in and around the greater Reno-Tahoe region. You don’t want to miss out on this one!
Friday, June 19
Morning: Travel out to Reno, Nevada
Mid-Afternoon: Meet at Coach Jay’s house, launch 29-mile ride flw by short brick
Early Evening: Relax + BBQ in Coach Jay’s backyard
Saturday, June 20
Early-morning: Meet at The Summit Reno Shopping Center. Launch 34-mile ride around Washoe Lake
Late morning: Group hike up at Galena Creek Recreation Area
Afternoon: YOYO lunch and personal downtime perhaps up at Lake Tahoe
Sunday, June 21
Early-morning: Commute to Donner Lake, West End Beach. Launch 31-mile out/back ride to Squaw Valley Village. Grab coffee and pastry at The Coffeebar
Late-morning: 6.5-mile run around Donner Lake
Afternoon: Optional beach time/swim or head back home. Camp ends
